OUR WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS
1.) Website Consultation
We’ll meet with you (free of charge) to discuss and define your website requirements and goals and how we can help you develop your web identity to help achieve your online marketing goals. We want your website to be useful to you and your visitors. If your site requires additional services such as,
programming, e-commerce, flash animation, more than one online form or copy writing, we will provide an estimate for these services after we know exactly what you need.
It is the clients responsibility to provide and or purchase website content, including copy, photos and artwork. We’ll assist you with researching photos and or artwork by utilizing online stock photography websites as needed. Once we understand the scope of your website we’ll provide you with an estimate.
2.) Website Planning
(1 – 2 weeks after acceptance of proposal)
After we’ve learned more about you and your target audiences we’ll develop your website navigational structure and general architecture (the map of your website). We’ll begin the SEO process by researching to determine which top search keywords we should utilize.
3.) Website Design
(1-3 weeks after your site framework has been outlined)
Once your site framework has been outlined, we can begin designing your home page and inside page layouts. We’ll present you with 1-2 home page designs (depending on project agreement), once a home page is approved, we’ll show you an inside page design for approval. We will post your designs online for
review. At this time we can work on refining any details in the design as needed. Once you have approved the design and site navigation, we can begin the production of your website.
4.) Website Production
(1-3 weeks after design has been approved)
Now that we have an approved design and site navigation we can build each page within your website. This involves working with the graphics and writing the code. We will incorporate meta and alt tags with top keyword choices to help improve your site’s search engine ranking. We’ll post a development website
online so you can review your site’s progress and also so that we can test your site in different browsers before making it live.
Website Launch!
Once your site has been completed and you’ve approved it, we’ll make it live!
Pricing
Our custom website pricing usually starts at $1,000 – $2,500 plus, (depending on your website). General website editing $35/hour.
Quotes vary depending on what you need. Do you want a new site, an enhanced site or perhaps a customized Word Press site?
Payment Schedule
For the initial fee, a signed contract and half of the fee are due before Passport2 begins work on your project. The final half will be due upon project completion and site launch. Additional project elements outside the original project scope will be incorporated into a separate contract, which will include a payment schedule.
